Design & designer:
The PANEL trousers are named for the panel of colour blocks on the hem, which creates endless possibilities for variations. You can play with contrasting colours or create a subtle effect using two different sides of the same fabric, as we did for the sample. or you can opt to completely leave out the panel, creating voluminous midi shorts to wear for summer trips to beaches, cities, forests, and mountains!
The co-founder’s, Mila Moisio’s, PANEL trousers are inspired by the Bauhaus school of art and design. Bauhaus artists like Gunta Stölzl were revolutionary in developing innovative weaving techniques and forms of artistic expression. Stölzl’s sense of colour and rhythm has been an endless source of inspiration for Mila.
Fit and size:
Choose your size based on your waist circumferences. Add a recommended positive ease of approximately 1.2–2"/3–5 cm. Pick the size that is the best match for your waist.
Bayi Amoussou is wearing a denim PANEL in size 2. She is 65"/164 cm tall. Erica Fernandez is wearing ochre PANEL shorts in size 6. She is 64"/163 cm tall.
Fabric recommendations:
Choose a medium weight woven fabric. The sample trousers are made from “Getti organic raw chambray” (4.5 oz/152 gsm) and the shorts are made from “Nisa Softened linen” in dry mustard (6.3 oz/180 gsm). Both fabrics are by mind the maker from Meter Meter.
