Getting to Approved Textiles

Public Transportation:

  • SEPTA: Use the Market-Frankford Line to 2nd Street Station, then a 15-minute walk south.
  • Bus Routes: 57 and 47 stop nearby at 4th and Bainbridge.

Parking:

  • Street Parking: Our block of 4th Street is metered, with vigilant enforcement by the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA)—check signs and meters (2 hour limit) carefully.
  • Paid Parking: Available on Bainbridge Street and Front Street.

Walking:

  • From South Street, head south on 4th Street to reach our location.

Please reach out with any questions about our fabrics. Due to limited quantities, swatches are not always available, but we are happy to send video and additional photos of any fabric.

 

Approved Textiles are available for wholesale. Please fill out the contact form below or email matthew@approved-textiles.com. Minimum wholesale order is 100 meters per style of fabric.

 

We also produce custom hand loom woven fabrics in increments of 50 meters. Capabilities for custom fabric include

- natural fibers and combinations of cotton, linen, silk, and wool

- natural dyes or eco friendly chemical dyes

- woven patterns with jacquard, jamdani (extra weft), and integrated sequins

- surface patterns with block printing and batik

All fabric sold by the yard is final sale.

Classes and Workshops

We’re happy to move your booking to a different date for the same class, as long as we hear from you more than 48 hours before class begins. Just email us at inquiry@approved-textiles.com, and we’ll take care of it.

If your request comes in less than 48 hours before class starts, we won’t be able to reschedule you—but we can offer you 50% off your next booking for the same class.

We know life happens. This policy helps us keep our small class sizes sustainable for our shop, our teachers, and our community. Thanks for understanding.

Rush Tickets

All rush tickets to classes are final sale-no returns or exchanges.

Non-Fabric and Non-Class Items

Other items may be exchanged for store credit within 7 days of purchase, provided they are in their original condition and packaging.
