All classes will be taught by Sheryl Kessler. Sheryl attended the Philadelphia College of Arts (University of the Arts), transferred and graduated from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (Philadelphia University at Jefferson University).
She began her love of textiles with machine knitting and learned hand knitting, quilt making, and embroidery. She is revisiting weaving on the rigid heddle loom.

Steady progress, one step at a time.
Intensive: Wednesdays, Nov 12 & Dec 10 — 3 hours each, for a total of 6 hours

Both versions cover the same core skills: dynamic composition, raw & turned-edge applique, running, back, blanket, chain, fly stitch, French knots, edge finishing, and mounting on watercolor paper.

We’re happy to move your booking to a different date for the same class, as long as we hear from you more than 48 hours before class begins. Just email us at inquiry@approved-textiles.com, and we’ll take care of it.
If your request comes in less than 48 hours before class starts, we won’t be able to reschedule you—but we can offer you 50% off your next booking for the same class.
