Visible Mending Support

Visible Mending Support

Start with a hole. End with something more.

Visible mending is a quiet kind of resistance. It is a chance to slow down, repair what matters, and add something of yourself in the process. Whether you’re mending out of necessity, love, or curiosity—you’re in the right place.

How to Use Our Transfers

Simple on purpose. These water-soluble patterns give you a guide—but you decide the pace and shape of the repair.

Stick it down. Stitch through it. Rinse with water. That’s it.

—just enough to get you started.

Frequently Asked

Do I need special tools?
Just the basics: a needle, thread, scissors, and something you care enough to mend. We have kits if you want everything in one place.

Will the pattern rinse out?
Yes. The transfer dissolves fully in a bowl of water or a gentle wash cycle. No sticky residue, no stress.

What fabric works best?
These transfers are made with natural fibers in mind—denim, linen, cotton, hemp. If you're working with blends, test a small patch first.

Why We Mend

Hand-mending is older than industry. It exists in every corner of the world—kantha, sashiko, jogakbo, darning, bògòlanfini, Navajo reweaving, and beyond. These patterns aren’t just decoration. They’re care, made visible.

We offer these tools with deep respect for that history, and in the hope that you’ll make them your own.
